About The Coffee:
Aldea is a cooperative that supports farming families, producing stricly high-grown (SHG) washed arabica beans. With over 13.000 producer members - including women-led micro-lots and Chorotega Indigenous communities promoting fair traid and organic practices. The coffee comes from the lush mountainous highlands of Matagalpa. Grown at altitudes of 900 to 1500 meters in rich volcanic soil, these beans are typically shade-grown and wet-processed, with distinct chocolte, nutty and floral profiles.
