Dark chocolate / Sweet / Raspberry

The areas of Sidamo and Yirgachaffe in southern Ethiopia are famous for high-quality, washed coffees. Yirgachaffe, a coffee origin named after a small town in Gedeo Zone, commands a special premium in the world market for its distinctively floral and delicate characteristics in the cup.

Coffee is a native plant to Ethiopia and Yemen and thus grows remarkably well here. Ethiopia is one of the few producing countries to consume more coffee than they export.
